“No matter how many books you own, you can never own enough. Reading books is the best addiction anyone can have.”
― Love The Stacks Bookstore
I don’t need this book-

i have so many others at home-

i haven’t finished the books i’m reading yet-

I already have this book, but this one has a prettier cover-

I just bought some books a little while ago, i don’t need more already-

I don’t know, comics are so expensive-

You know what?

Me: My name is Gervan, and I’m from Trinidad and Tobago (Wiki link in case you need it). I’m a psychology major with a minor in anthropology and I’m currently on a study abroad program in Maryland, USA.
PS. I’m a Hufflepuff which is why I love that scarf so much.
Currently reading: Furies of Calderon by Jim Butcher
The books: I would say my favorite genres are high fantasy, historical fantasy, sci fi thriller and lgbt/queer fiction. Some of my favorites are:
The Archived/The Unbound by Victoria Schwab
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz
The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater (I haven’t read past TRB, pls don’t spoil it for me!)
I just love books and libraries and the smell of books and complete silence except the sound of someone flipping the pages and i just love words and paper and fictional characters and all the feelings my destiny is to live inside a bookstore
“My favorite bookstore in NYC: Albertine Books. It’s a reading room, bookshop and venue devoted to French literature and culture. For all Francophiles I think, and certainly for me—it’s a slice of heaven. And that painted ceiling!”

Today was Independent Bookstore Day, so I headed to Anderson’s Bookshop for the first time. It was really cute! I will definitely have to go back.
Just went to the bookstore to buy this gorgeous creature!!! I had to convince them that it actually released today they had it marked in the back as not releasing till the 9th… but we got it all sorted out and I got to purchase the first copy from this store!!! Plus the guy working there was really cute and we had a fun conversation about books!
Can’t wait to get home and read it!!
Guys last night I realized I got the release date wrong. I accidentally got the store to sell me this book a day early…. ooops
